FILING WARRANTY CLAIMS
All Electric & Gas Trimmers, Chain Saws, Edgers, Hedge Trimmers, Blowers and the WT-3100 Walk behind Trimmer.
§ There are two ways to file these claims:
1. Send them through the mail to Bay Distributors
2.
File them electronically through ServiceBench - If you are interested in filing
Claims through the Internet with
ServiceBench, then please call them at 877-472-3624
for your Password if you are not set up.
You will be asked for your Poulan Master Service Dealer #. If you don’t know your # then give us a
call at
Bay and we can tell you what it is. Check out Service Bench online at
http://www.servicebench.com
The current Labour Rate is based on a flat rate schedule and the parts are credited at List price.
§
All Parts used in
warranty repairs must
be OEM and obtained through factory channels, as we are no longer
set up for part #s that are obtained through different venues.
§
Poulan will allow
$6.00 to help out on
the freight on parts
ordered in for warranty repairs on their handheld
product warranty claims. They have done this, as there were in some cases,
dealers that were sitting on a repair
until they had enough parts to order to make it worth while.
If you order in
any other parts of equal or greater
value with the warranty parts, then the freight credit should not be claimed.
This program is on a trial basis
and will be closely monitored. It will be terminated if it gets out of hand.
If you do not know the freight costs, then simply
write on the claim, that you send to Bay Distributors:
“FREIGHT COSTS
RE: BAY ORDER# XXXXXXX” and we will
look up the costs and write it on your claim.

Sears/Craftsmen
Warranty and select
Kobalt Models
are not covered
through Poulan Weed Eater, as Sears provides the warranty coverage
on these units. All Warranty must be performed by an Authorized Sears
Repair Center

§ Engine warranty on tractors and lawn mowers is covered by the respective engine manufacturer.

Sears/Craftsmen
Warranty is not covered
through Poulan Weed Eater, as Sears provides the warranty coverage
on these units. All Warranty on Craftsmen product must be performed by an
Authorized Sears Repair Center
